Inside Look of Events

Every client is so special to us and we absolutely love making their dream and vision come true! Sometimes its hard as an outsider to take a look inside what really happens in the background. Many people love what they see but they don’t know what it actually takes. Our couples only get married once! So I decided to create mini blogs of the events I have under my belt. Its also great for inspo! Enjoy!

The wedding of

Aisha and Atyab

The Couple

OMG! How I love this couple they seriously were so sweet and so down to earth. I have worked with so many couples and I always love hearing their vision. Aisha and Atyab came to me with a full on set vision and we all made it happen. They would ask questions and my answer would be “ITS YOUR BIG DAY!” DO IT!” When you work with me. Not only do I hear you but I want to make the sketch in your head come true. Every wedding is different and no wedding is the same. Every couple have that one thing that makes them stand out.

The Ceremony

The wedding was so beautiful. The couple got married at Chateau Cocomar in Houston, TX. Everything was so perfect! The service, the layout, the decor. Aisha and Atyab had a vision of getting married in front of the Chateau. Everything was so timeless and elegant. No detail was missed. Your big day starts as soon as you walk into your dream venue.

I always love to make sure my couples eat so that day I got everyone Chik -Fil A (I mean we can’t go wrong with this) , Orange Juice and specialty drinks. I always advise my couples to eat, Its so so important. If you don’t you wont feel well and we do not want you to pass out in the middle of ceremony. During this time your bridesmaids and immediate family get to spend this special day with you. This is the getting ready phase and its so memorable.

When you finish getting ready I always love to do a first look. First looks are important and let me tell you why. This is a time you and your fiance get to see each other before walking down the aisle. Its an intimate moment you do not want to miss. Sometimes seeing each other in front of guest is just not the same compared to tapping your soon to be husband and him turning around and seeing you all dressed up. Its surreal and you get to soak it all in. This is also the time the couple gets to take photos. When you say “I DO” in the ceremony note that you only have one hour (cocktail hour) to take photos so this allows you to take photos at ease.

After the first look we proceed to the detail shots with immediate family and bridal party and once that is done its SHOWTIME!!! AHH. I remember Aisha and Atyab were so nervous. This is so normal btw. 95% of my couples are overthinking everything. I always reassure them that everything is going to be fine. Just breathe. We had the Groom walk down the aisle first of course with this parents but Aisha had a grand entrance. Her father got her a Hermes Ghost Rolls Royce Edition for her walk down the aisle. As everyone was sitting down we had her father drive her to the very front of the fountain so no one can see her until she steps out of the car. It was truly magical!!! Just look at the photos below yourself you’ll see. They said “I DO” and now time to partayyyy!! Wohoo lets go. BTW, your nerves and anxiety will disappear.

The Reception

Once you say “I DO” its time to PARTY! Yes! You know that feeling when you finally finish something so big your just like phew. It feels like that after haha. After ceremony then is cocktail hour. Aisha and Atyab has Agas Catering and they had every thing you can imagine when it comes to south asian food. I just wanted to throw everything in my mouth but obviously you just cant LOL. In my case as the planner one bite will suffice.

Cocktail hour is that time for all of your guest to enjoy themselves. They will grab a drink and typically we have servers pass out hors d'oeuvres. This is the time to take ceremony photos and to see the ballroom just the two newlyweds. Again, another special moment.

This usually last for one hour and once that is done we (our team) have everyone take their seats and wait for the program to begin.

So you may ask, what happens next? INTROS! YES. This is your time for your (Bride) to shine that last name. We usually introduce the bridal party and then the couple. From there you will have special dances, dinner, toast, and any other form of entertainment.

We hit all of the main points that need to be executed in your event. Once that is all done the DJ takes over and if you have late night bites your guest will eat, drink booze and dance all night till its over.

The couple will have their last dance and usually sparkler or firework send off and then the big day you have always imagined since you ever remember is over <3
